Saturday

A four lettered word that we all love - FOOD : )

Spent a whole Sunday in town with Linda and had dinner at Pavilion. At a place called little wok. I think the reason is obvious enough why. All your food is served in little woks. Geddit? It's at Food Republic by the way. :)

Linda's order :)
J.Co doughnuts :) Yums. Snow White and Choco caviar. My favourite doughnut quote by Oscar Wilde " The optimist sees the doughnut; the pessimist sees the hole."
Chloe brought Linda and me out to Sunway to celebrate Da's birthday and she took us to this chines restaurant next to Kim Gary. It was...Nice :) She initially wanted to take Linda out for durian. I was strongly NOT in favour of that. I HATE DURIANS. That's right. Those friggin green skunks. Ewwww.Thank goodness Sunway was the other alternative. The birthday had this :)
I know exactly remember the name of this but all I know is it's healthy. Haha. Enough said. And on the plus side...it didn't taste weird.

The fried rice I had was in a bloody big portion. I had to give Yong Kang like half of it.
Linda's drink. I just find the cup itself fascinating. :)
Drumrolls* And the birthday girl herself :)
YES!BASKIN ROBBINS!On your left: Green Tea (Angel) Right: Mango sherbet (Me) Now what actually happened anout 5minutes after I took this picture was that the whole scoop of Angel's green tea ice cream fell to the floor. It was HILARIOUS in a sad sort of way. Lol. Passers by had no idea they were actually stepping on green tea goo. *Note...Ice cream from BR melts fast.
Me, Yas and Da are loyal patrons of Khana Curry House. It's like a set routine every Sunday morning. We'll have breakfast there before we go to church. 51% is because it's just next to our church. Ok fine. Next next next next to our church so it's like the only place.Don't get the wrong idea though. They have great roti everything. Roti pisang, roti bawang, roti planta, roti khawin, roti bom, roti tisu. Gosh. You name it. Oh ya and the 49% is because we're hungry:) Oh by the way and you eat on banana leaves too :)

Went to Kim Gary at Sunway once with Angel, Ben, Chua, Andrea, Philip and Nigel. Jo had to leave early. Don't get the wrong impression, they don't just serve burgers. You'd be amazed by the variety. I had nothing there though.Wasn't hungry than...Haha boy was that a mistake.
Camera-shy Philip.LOL.
Now this is big! A smile finally from Chua.
My chemistry lab partner- Nigel. Well...The waiter unintentionally forgot to down take his order so his food was the last to come.

Andrea behind her burger.
Darling Angel says :" That's HOT." (Hilton)
This is uploaded withOUT Benjamin's premission so....ya sorry ben. But hey you look like your are enjoying your food:)
Sarawak laksa at Laksa Shack. It's....different than it's original self in Sarawak. And...It's a lot more expensive here. *Yas and Linda's back in Kuching now for hols.Darn it...bet their eating laksa now. Grumbles.
Read and spot the spelling mistake. I'll give you a hint. If you get it right you can keep the change :)
Ayam penget- Famous Indonesian dish. Once again, introduced by Georgina. Had it the morning before I went back to Kuching last month. The sambal sauce that came with the chicken was...................... !!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha. I cried. Literally. I did. But it was sooooooo good. A must try!
Little's Penang's rojak. Doctor's Liew had a sudden craving for rojak.

Yas had Nasi Lemak at Little Penang.
Prawn mee at Little Penang.
Georgina brought us to this swanky sushi place at Sunway
Omelette sushi for Yas. Sadly, Miss Liew was on a diet so she couldn't really enjoy. Hahaha. She was off the very next day.
More omelette sushi for Yas :)
Linda had this. Uunfortunately, I forgot the name too.
Georgina's order. I don't remember food names in Japanese well. Apologies.
What I had #1 - Garlic rice
What I had #2- Salmon with Teriyaki and sweet sauce. Drools.

Got this from this random stall serving western at Asia Cafe. Had this huge craving for carbonara that particular day. It was surprisingly good.
Typical food you get at a mamak stall here in SJ. Went to a mamak the first time with Georgina aka humpback whale. :)
The Ramly Burger!LOL. Fattening goodness that comes in the form of a patty, buns, maggi sauce, cheese. You name it. The great thing about it is that the Ramly Burger is the most flexible ever street food. You can customize it anyhow you like. So what to people who customize their bmws or pradas. I customize my own Ramly Burger. Extra cheese please and thank you. You can find this practically at any burger stall/mamak :)
