Street Craze.

Ah...My favourite. 037. Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Box Set. Comes with Kimchi and soup. *Yums.
We got minaiture toy hats as souvenirs for free. Do ask the waiters.
Have been to The Street Cafe more than five times in the past two weeks. For those of you who have yet to go there, Korean food is the only cuisine on the menu. Being a fan of kimchi myself, I love it. Though it's a tad bit pricey,I really can't deny myself Kimchi. I love the ambience on the first floor. Please go and see for yourself. The waiters will offer to take a polaroid of you and your friends after your meal so don't be shy.Stick-it-notes are also readily available for you to unleash your creativity and your polaroid will adorn the walls of The Street Cafe alongside your customized Stick It Notes. I might just go again tomorrow.... :)

Sunday

Midsummer Day's Snack.

Rice crackers. I love.
I have green tea to help me detox after taking in all those chemicals from my instant noodles.
Everyone college student away from their home has this as their best friend. Instant noodles in general are like a necessity when you live by yourself. I prefer Mi Sedap. I know I know. A serious health threat. But it's convenient and cheap ;)
A once familiar sweet treat from my childhood. Reminiscing about choki chokies and cola sweets too :)

Wednesday

Our Secret.

Met up with Leen at Sunway the night before she went back to Kuching for her two weeks of break. Yvonne and Cliffy were there too:) Took us quiet awhile to decide on a place to have dinner at. The second last choice was Manhattan Fish Market. The final choice was Secret Recipe. I haven't had any of their cakes for some time now. My favourites being : Chocolate Banana, White Choc Macadamia and their a la classique Blueberry Cheesecake.I l.o.v.e blueberry cheesecakes. However, being blueberry cheesecakeless I had their white choc macadamia instead. Leen and Vonne shared durian cakes. Which, fortunately is SEASONAL by the way.

I loathe durians. The taste and smell of it is simply revolting. That's just me. Mind you. I'm not discriminating anyone who loves durians. Most of the people I love are all durianaholics.I can tolerate the smell of it but I will never in my living sanity ever want to taste it. Growing up I'm was ok with it. But somehow after puberty, one weird way or another durians had a whole new effect on my digestive system. Figures. Anyways, have fun in Kuching my Fern :) Miss ya!

Sunday

Pushed!

Went to the PUSH Subang Rally last Saturday with Linda and Yas. Got a cab over to Sunway first and had kebabs for dinner :) Lol after that we jumped onto the free shuttle bus that goes around sunway to Sunway college where the rally was held. CF's from all the secondary schools in subang collaborated in this God-glorifying project Together. So needless to say theres tons of secondary school students who attended the rally. But I was amazed by the way God has touched their young hearts.

Despite feeling like an aunty, I had a great time. It's been ages since I last went to a christian rally. I miss that atmosphere where everyone's just there to give praise and glory to God. Every drumbeat just amplifies your passion for God. And with every key you feel God's loving embrace. My spiritual life has been in jeopardy for quiet awhile now. It's been lying in the ICU for goodness knows how long. But now I'm glad to say I'm slowly picking up pace again with God's grace and a healthy dose of prayer. The rally was an amazing revival.

All glory to God.
God bless y'all :)

Friday

I saw like at least 3 stalls of Uncle Bob's scattered throughout the pasar malam.

This how the chai kueh in Cheras looks like.

And not to forget your main course.
Even sushi.
And doughnuts too.
An array of pastries.
Roasted pork. Their strictly Halal tho.
Parts of a fried chicken.
Delightful desserts.
You got Japanese bento lunches.
Haha cute aren't they and they look so real. I don't think I'll get one. It'll be a distraction in class if I hang it on my phone or bag.
More bakery goods in the form of keychains.

Decorations for ones' earlobes.
You can DIY your own piece of bread with your own spread of words and pictures instead of the conventional jam and butter.
Bread and cream rolls on a keychain. They smell nice too :)
Chloe, Vanessa and Micheal had assam laksa from a stall at the pasar. The stall next to the laksa stall was a stall selling sugarcane drinks. Apparently their at war. So if you buy the sugarcane drink and sat at the table of the laksa stall you'd get halaued away even if you ordered their laksa. I don't know why. But that's what happened to me and Linda.
Bubble tea :)
Motion-blurred looking aunty making popiah.
Cartoonish sponge cakes. 6o cents per piece.Mine was a doremon because frogs are disgusting, rabbits are cute, I like cats and pandas are endangered thus I settled with doremon :)

Had a pasar malam trip to Cheras a few weeks back ( Sorry again for the late update :x ) with Chloe, Yong Kang, Vanessa, Linda and Micheal who was nice enough to drive us there :) Thanks Chef! The place was congested with people and stalls. It was an awesome experience :) Tra-la-la-la-la~ Next resolution would be to have satays at Kajang :)
